When it comes to writing SEO content on your website, it’s important that you follow a few tips.
Why?
Your content is going to help you
- attract traffic from the Search Engines,
- bring back repeat visitors,
- help reinforce what your website is about.
Badly written content isn’t going to help you.
Here are some solid hints to guide you and your content :
- Content is king. It’s important to have well written, precise content that focuses on your articles primary keyword or phrase.
- Continuously add new content to your site, it can help improve your rankings. New content about your site topics, will reinforce the relevancy of your website.
- Update your site at least 3-4 times a week, if you aren’t able to find enough content for your website, add a blog, and update it 3-4 times a week.
- Search engines love unique quality content.
- Ensure that your content uses keywords and phrases to do with the topic you are writing about. eg if you are talking about a “poker cards”, use “poker cards” through out your content, also incorporate other poker terminology – this will help pick up other poker related traffic. If a keyword looks like it is being spammed in your content, it will hurt your rankings. eg.. for a 500 word article dont use the term “poker cards” 50 times!
- Ensure that the term or keyword you are targeting is in the first 2 sentences of your content.
- If you are linking to a content page, the link should contain the keyword / phrase. eg linking to a section titled “pictures of boats” – the link should be “Pictures of Boats” , not “click here”. Remember, good quality links, not poor quality links.

When it comes to making money online, one of the fastest ways is to promote online poker. Even if you don’t understand poker, you can still relatively earn great money as an advertiser promoting it. Seasoned campaigners can earn anywhere from $5,000 to over a $1,000,000 dollars a money in revenue. Yes… over a million dollars a month, from promoting online poker. But let’s start realistically, within a year, its very possible to be earning 10K a month, which in anyone books – is a solid income.
So how do you earn money from online poker as an advertiser!
Well it’s all to do with a players rake! Whats rake? Poker Zone defines rake as :
- Noun A method for a casino or cardroom to receive compensation for hosting the game in which the house takes a set percentage of each pot, sometimes with a limit set on the amount that may be taken.EXAMPLE: “I was winning small pots pretty consistently, but ended up losing money after the rake.”

- Verb To take a percentage of the pot as compensation for hosting a game.EXAMPLE: “The dealer raked $10 from the pot.”

So basically, everytime a poker players wants to play his starting cards, he puts money into the middle (the pot) to say he would like to play. The poker room then looks at the size of the pot, and takes a % of it. Of this %, you get a %.
To put it into numbers,
Players put their money in, and the pot is $10 to start with.
The poker room might take 1% which is $0.10.
Of the $0.10, you might get 30%, which is $0.03.
If a player players a 1000 hands a day (very easy to do – because online poker is fast) thats $30 to you.
If the player plays only weekends, thats 8 days of the month… which is 8 days x $30 = $240 to you. Get yourself 10 solid players, and its not hard to see how you could you be earning upward in excess of $10K
Although, invariably with all poker rooms and deals you do, there are costs associated – being an advertiser with a poker room is like being a partner. Things such as poker bonuses (giving money to solid players to keep them happy and playing), and transaction fees can be removed from your earnings.
Without a doubt, promoting online poker is one of the most lucrative ways to make money online. Some industry may pay you per lead of anywhere form $5-$150 per lead. But over the term of a poker player, the income generated from a poker player can be in excess of $25,000. A lead definitely worth chasing!
